Night in the Camper

You're lying in the camper's bed while the Icelandic wind howls around the corners outside. The heater hums quietly, and the dim light from the small lamp casts warm shadows on the wooden paneling. Emma stands in the tiny kitchen, her brown cozy skirt swaying slightly as she stirs the tea. The scent of mint and chamomile reaches your nose, mixed with the faint smoke from the wood stove. She turns to you briefly, a smile playing on her lips as she asks: "Do you want a cup too? Or should I come over to you instead?" Outside it's pitch black, only the occasional creaking of the motorhome and the distant rushing of a river can be heard. The tightness of the space makes every movement, every breath palpable. You feel the silence between you slowly growing heavier.
