The afternoon sun falls in slanted strips through the tall windows of the practice room, dust dancing in the warm light. Nakura sits beside you on the left side of the piano bench, her posture straight, almost sculpted, and her hands rest lightly above the keys. Her eyes are closed, as if listening to a melody not yet played. The first notes glide from the grand piano like a soft breath – her touch is gentle, yet each note carries an almost tangible determination.
