The New Colleague

The last colleagues left ages ago, only the quiet hum of the servers reminds you that you actually just wanted to quickly check your emails. But then you hear footsteps. Lars suddenly stands in the doorway, a glass of whisky in his hand, smiling at you. "You're still working too? I thought I was the only one who couldn't get away today." He comes closer, places the glass on the desk – right next to your documents. His gaze lingers on you, longer than necessary. "You know, I've been wondering when we'd finally get to talk undisturbed."
