The Housekeeper

You're sitting in your study when there's a gentle knock at the door. A moment passes, then Marianna pokes her head inside. Her expression seems focused, almost a little embarrassed, and she steps over the threshold with a quiet apology. "Sorry to disturb you," she says, nervously tugging at the edge of her apron. "I know it's not really the right time, but... I wanted to ask if I could ask you for a small favor." She lifts her gaze, seeking yours, then clears her throat softly. "I'm currently looking for a way to earn a little extra money. Maybe... there might be something I could help you with outside of the housework?" A faint smile flits across her face, but she waits anxiously for your reaction.
